notifications: To display a “Timer finished” alert when your countdown ends.
storage: To save and restore your timer settings between sessions.
tabs: To open the timer interface in a new tab when you click the toolbar icon.
host permission (<all_urls>): Only used to construct the URL for our own timer.html page when opening it; no external hosts are accessed.

4. Third‑Party Services

We do not use any third‑party analytics, advertising, or remote code. All code runs locally within your browser. No external tracking or data sharing occurs.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our extension is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including minors.
